About Tirumala

Tirumala is a Hindu religious temple town in Tirupati district which is located in Andhra Pradesh State in India. It is one of the neighbourhoods of the Tirupati city. The town is a part of Tirupati Urban Development Authority and located in Tirupati (urban) mandal of Tirupati revenue division. The city is strictly vegetarian. It is a hill town where Tirumala Venkateswara Temple is located, a popular shrine of Vishnu. Vishnu is believed to reside here with his full power, as in Vaikuntha, and thus the place is also called 'Bhuloka Vaikuntha. Vishnu is a central figure in Hinduism, revered as the preserver and protector of the universe within the Hindu trinity (Trimurti) alongside Brahma (the creator) and Shiva (the destroyer). He is the supreme deity in Vaishnavism, one of the three main branches of Hinduism, and is believed to have numerous incarnations (avatars) to restore cosmic balance and protect dharma (righteousness). In Tirumala Hindu religious is very deeply seeing which is last found in 1900BC. The culture of Hinduism is showing in Tirumala that's why more devotee will go there and take darshan. The normal Darshan take 10-12hrs and if tickets available it takes 2-3hrs.
